Some of the most challenging and exciting whitewater in the Northeast can be found on the Hudson River, a major waterway of the Adirondack Region. Spring rains and melting mountain snows make April and May the best time for action. June, July and August run at slightly lower levels but the water is warmer and still lots of fun. Weekends in September and October are complimented by the inspiring delight of fall colors. This 17-mile river trip through remote wilderness areas will have you crashing through whitewater rapids (Class III, IV, V) one moment and enjoying the magnificent scenery the next.

We specialize in personal small-group rafting adventures with professional Adirondack guides to teach you whitewater skills and share his or her knowledge of the river's natural history. Fun, laughter and screams of excitement are the name of the game as we plummet through rapids such as The Narrows, Big Nasty, Giveny's Riff, Harris Riff, and the infamous Black Hole…to name a few. Come join us for a great day on the river!
